At which time justified and violent persecution of the anti-Christian Jews broke out, including the conversos or “neo-Christians”, who were mostly fake Jewish converts to Christ, scurrying like rats to a temporary sanctuary to save their necks. The persecutions were endorsed by numerous political enactments, until the institution of the Inquisition in 1480; and they were only curtailed when the edict calling for the expulsion of all Jews from Spain was issued by Ferdinand and Isabella in 1492.
Despite their expulsion, after being exposed as rank criminals of the worst sort, the Jews only hardened themselves against the truth of the gospel and God’s gracious offer of eternal life with him in the heavenlies; and their bigoted and vengeful spirit cried out for an end to Spain’s relatively righteous Christian monarchy, which was to be ultimately achieved by using Rothschild money and their Marxist acolytes to foment a General Political Strike in Spain, in 1865.
