New ISIS Video Claims Washington D.C. Is “Next”
ISIS has released another stunning video production in which the group claims that terror attacks like the one that occurred in Paris over the weekend are coming to the U.K., Australia, Canada, and the U.S. as they “suffer the same fate” at the hands of the terror group.
The group vows that, in particular, Washington D.C. will be “next,” although a specific D.C. target is not mentioned (of course).
The video first appeared on ISIS propaganda sites and features a group of men dressed in random camo vests making threats that what happened in Paris will happen against America’s capital next. Then a man identified as Al Ghareeb the Algerian appears to warn other countries who have joined to bomb Syria they will also be hit.
“We say to the states that take part in the crusader campaign that, by God, you will have a day, God willing, like France’s and by God, as we struck France in the center of its abode in Paris, then we swear that we will strike America at its center in Washington,” the man says, according to translations of the video. It’s sad how predictable all of this has become.
Curious too, how the new rounds of terror seem to bolster the U.S. position in Syria at a time when it was losing credibility and support due to the fact that Russia showed up and was able to accomplish knocking out nearly half of ISIS infrastructure in a week, something the U.S. couldn’t (or wouldn’t) do after hundreds of millions of dollars was spent over a year.
Several months back, ISIS released a laundry list of American cities and towns on a “kill list,” but to cut the suspense in the interest of time, nothing happened.
