Keep praying, you need faith to think no one is going to try to steel your food but i will be keeping my eyes fully open looking for danger.
Strong people don’t need old story books like the bible so they can cope with conditions, they are people that get going when the going gets rough and bible bashers just won’t fit the bill to join my little group.

People confuse sentiments like yours with ‘hate of the Bible’ – and they *project* that to “hate of religion / goodness / charity / family / everything-that-they-stand-for”.
That’s not the point (from my perspective) – the point is that there are *multiple* ways in which relying on superstition / mysterium / ritual weakens one’s soul and character, brain, and overall existence… and the few ways that ritual ‘strengthens’ a person’s character is mainly an illusion.
Question to Bible-thumpers: Why not just ‘do good’ because you’ve known instinctively to ‘do good’ since you were a baby? Why do you have to do good because a book tells you to do so?
Have…. have y’all NOT felt that instinct? Are you afraid of the immensity of existence?
It seems indicative to me of extreme personality frailties that a person should need dogma to tell them to ‘do good’.
… and I don’t want those frailties 1) carried into the society that we rebuild after SHTF, and 2) popping out at the wrong time when we’re trying to survive SHTF.
Bible-Thumpers…. THINK on what I say here. THIS is what “friendly Atheists” are REALLY thinking when they look at you, even if they’re too dim to express it.
