The box you get when you buy this, is $50 or less ARM processor setup, with a minimal amount of internal storage, running Android. When you turn it on, you set it up like any other unlicenced Android box, then it runs the KODI Media Center app, the same one you can get on any Android device. This one then loads up “plug ins” what these plug ins are, are basically links to existing internet streams, that you can find for free anywhere, that get added to the KODI Media Center main menu. For you to select.
The problem is, these streams have a tendency to be there one day, and gone the next. And they are illegal. They try to hide in a grey area of having a lot of the streams come from other countries, but it doesn’t matter, it’s still illegal. Which is why the available “plug ins” will come and go.
There are free apps on the Google Play Store you can download right now, that will do the same thing this box does. Just search “Free TV” or “Free Cable Channels”. Maybe right now, TigerStream might be keeping up on making sure they’re streams stay running, but after a while, they’ll all be gone.
This is exactly what this is, it is not legal, because there is no way every channel in the US, UK, and Canada would agree to let everything they charge for, be legally available to anyone who gets ripped off buying this cheap Android box.
This article is garbage, and a scam. Use Google and am HDMI cable, and you’ll get better free streams than this expensive junk will get you.

Got my ROKU for 30 bucks and still watch ABC and NBC and CBS. Got rid of cable tv use ROKU on my TV you can find it between 30 and 50 dollars. Free TV for me now.
There is this thing called the Internet where you can watch pretty much every channel in the world live and for free. No need to pay anyone except your usual Internet fee. If you can’t find a live stream of what you want to view, you can download it within an hour of it being aired and with none of the usual adverts.
I have a 49 inch LG LED tv hooked to my PC plus a 39 inch. Wife has a 39 inch hooked to hers. We watch full movies, no commercials and pay nothing but the bill for internet each month. Why do I need to purchase some device? I am talking about new release movies and sometimes watch them before they come out in theaters here in the states! I have 13g internet speed and soon will have 18g speed when they get the wiring done. No. I am not a Net-flix customer either!

Actually I can find a device that can do this AND MORE. It’s called: Personal Computer!
It’s not cable TV. There are networks you can watch on their web sites. The channels this device offers are off market private channels that are mostly not even carried on cable. This is just another “Roku” type device. If you want cable networks like Tru TV, A&E, History, etc. you need a cable provider to watch their content.
