The income gap in major US cities is widening because pay has plummeted for the poorest households since the Great Recession began in late 2007, according to a new study.

America falls behind on renewable energy ~ link ~ 

China is the world’s biggest carbon emitter. When one thinks of China, more often than not, images of overpopulation and pollution — particularly smog-filled, crowded cities — come to mind. Other environmental concerns include toxic metal dumps, ocean reef collapse and more. Burdened with overpopulation, China has turned towards clean energy to help lessen the blow dealt by the environmental challenges.

However, China just added 3.3 gigawatts of solar capacity, now totaling 23 gigawatts of solar power supply which is 7 times as much as Australia has. Policymakers in China are pushing for ways to combat the nation’s air pollution problem.

Why isn’t the U.S. doing this? Clean energy is beneficial to any country. It is energy produced from renewable resources in a way that does not damage the environment, like solar or wind power. In fact, clean energy investments in the U.S. declined a staggering 37% from 2011. Why the under-performance in clean energy investment?

Trump also criticized Cruz for a loan that he took out from Goldman Sachs during his 2012 Senate run that he failed to disclose in federal campaign finance documents.
