Chris leads a round table discussion that covers the show and the plot itself, and the TV show vs the novel. Chris and the guys discuss the dangers of a program like this and how it could be seen as a Psy-Op on the masses to prepare them from some kind of disclosure event that is soon to come upon us.
Arthur C. Clarke wrote the original novel in 1953 and covers a peaceful alien invasion before the “overlords” reveal themselves after years of staying out of sight. There’s a good reason they decided to stay out of sight!
The story might not have the most fairytale of endings, however, this doesnt take away from the fact this is an epic piece of Sci-Fi that is now being rolled out to a new generation.
