UPDATE months later on November 1st, 2017. Windows has changed some updates because savy people like us have not allowed the windows 10 updates, nor do we want them!
This is my second (NO now 3rd) update for people not wishing to have Windows 10 overtake their computer and automatically install on their computer. When windows 10 installs, all of your pictures and documents will vanish. So if you do wish to have Windows 10, please make sure to back up your cpu.
For those wishing to not be forced into Windows 10 there is good news. I have compiled a complete list of all the current Windows updates for you to make sure you do NOT install on your cpu. Also make sure to “hide update” as well.
If you have Windows 7 or 8; and do NOT wish to have Windows 10 installed on your cpu, this list is for you.
Make sure, if you do get these updates suggested, you highlight and select “hide update.” This way you won’t have to constantly battle Windows over this forceful Windows 10 install.

Now if you have already been reverted to Windows 10 and you wish to go back to the way you computer was prior to Windows 10, you can.
You must first go to Control Panel and locate where it says “view installed updates.” Once you locate it, click on it. Then go thru and uninstall any and all updates matching the ones above. When you are finished doing it, you computer will be back to normal.
This happened to me and I reverted back, so I know it works. It does take along time, however. I’d say 1-3 hours to do, depending on how many of the above updates are currently installed on your cpu.

You lost me on ‘Install on your CPU’… your hard drive remains unchanged apparently.
install on your cpu means windows automatically takes what you currently have ie windows 7 or 8 or vista; and “forcefully” installs windows 10.
