Taylor Swift wore Leviev diamonds in photos in Vanity Fair’s September 2015 edition. Israeli billionaire Lev Leviev’s companies have built illegal Israeli settlements on Palestinian land, and have been implicated in human rights abuses in Angola’s diamond industry.
Organizations, governments and Hollywood stars have severed ties with Leviev over his companies’ unethical business practices. Seven organizations wrote to Ms. Swift in September asking her to publicly distance herself from Leviev (https://adalahny.org/document/1358/se…).
Ms. Swift and her team have not responded to that email or to our repeated follow-up calls. This video reiterates our request to Taylor Swift.
