Hillary Just Got Endorsed

Presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has earned her share of leftist endorsements - including hundreds of liberal politicians, gay rights, welfare rights and pro-abortion activists.
The former secretary of state may be surprised to learn, however, that along with that rainbow of progressive supporters, she has earned the “backing” of one extremely unlikely source - Ku Klux Klan Grand Dragon William Quigg.
The head of the Klan’s California Chapter is a fairly recent convert to Clinton. Just last fall he was reportedly backing for president Republican front-runner Donald Trump, who recently ran into his own issues because of supposed support from a former KKK big shot, David Duke.
The reasoning for the white supremacist’s supposed flip from Trump to Clinton, he said, is that he knows about “Hillary’s hidden agenda.”
Quigg went on to say that under a Clinton presidency, he has heard that border policies would be enforced and Second Amendment rights would be respected, contrary to what Clinton says on the campaign trail.
But Quigg isn’t very forthcoming about just how he “found out about Hillary Clinton’s main agenda.” “I cannot reveal my sources,” he told The Telegraph. “It’s my opinion - if you know what I mean (wink, wink). I don’t want her to come back and say I’m slandering her.“
Undoubtedly, neither candidate - Clinton nor Trump - would be eager to hear that a grand dragon of an almost universally reviled “white nationalist” group is a solid backer of his or her campaign for the White House. But at least one knowledgeable figure doubts the sincerity of the endorsement.
Brian LEVIN is the director of the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University, San Bernarndino, and a man who saved Quigg and another Klansmen when they were being beaten up by counter protesters during a Klan demonstration in February.L
Levin told The Telegraph that Quigg’s announcement is fishy. “Based on his past statements, it doesn’t appear highly credible that he has changed his effusive allegiance to Donald Trump,” Levin said. “The timing seems suspect. I think this is a function of not wanting to undermine the Trump campaign.“
Trump dealt with a similar issue recently when it was reported that KKK Grand Wizard David Duke endorsed the billionaire and the media attempted to portray Trump as a bigot.
Duke actually clarified and said he didn’t make an endorsement, and the real estate mogul has disavowed support from separatist groups on numerous occasions.
