26 Headlines Prove that the "Land of the Free" has Become an Oppressive Surveillance State

Coming to a city near you, police state paranoia has designed another new app called the ‘French Quarter Task Force‘ (FQTF) which features a drop down menu to make it easier to report “suspicious people”.

The FQTF app also wants Americans to report citizens who are legally carrying weapons, and report homeless people who ask for money [aggressive solicitation].

FQTF’s “New Crime Reporting App” section, boasts about how easy it is for citizens to Uber-In their crime reports, using a drop pin on a map to report ‘suspicious people’.

And if that wasn’t disturbing enough, the FBI and the Task Force Facebook page will send paranoid citizens, updates [encouragement] to continue spying on Americans.

US citizens spying on each other?

Last year, I warned everyone about DHS’s free app called “See Something, Send Something”, better known as ‘Everyone’s A Potential Terrorist’.

“The free app is a nationwide suspicious activity reporting Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) tool for citizens to help in the fight against terrorism…”

“Fyi, an FBI/DHS front company called My Mobile Witness (MMW) created the app.”

“MMW is tied at the hip to DHS and the FBI, in fact they even have a former FBI manager working for them! Former FBI manager Ronald Knight works as MMW’s law enforcement advisor.” 

This past January, I also warned everyone that the ‘I’ve-Been-Violated‘ app secretly reports alleged abuse to police.

“A disturbing new app called I’ve Been Violated promises to SECRETLY report alleged domestic abuse to the authorities. Apps that SECRETLY report on citizens are Un-American and are the exact opposite of a democratic government.”

“The app is the first app of its kind to allow a victim of sexual assault to confidentially record contemporaneous evidence (with video and audio) of an incident.”

The White House and DHS are directly responsible for creating apps that perpetuate fear.

“Since 2011, the White House has been encouraging companies to develop abuse reporting (spying) apps. Another app called the Circle of Six won the White House’s App Against Abuse contest. OnWatchOnCampus like Circle of Six, instantly contacts the police at the touch of a button.”

New ‘anonymous’ apps are creating a nation of spies

“In many cases, tips are referred to other government agencies, to follow up on a personnel matter or to investigate something within that agency’s jurisdiction. In Ohio, tips about drug dealers or a photo of someone’s Facebook post offering to sell food stamps are forwarded to the agencies that can take action, Ohio state auditor Dave Yost said.”

States agencies are now in the business of enforcing conspiracy theories:

“But the state is obligated to look into tips that make accusations against city officials, regardless of how implausible they may seem, Yost said.”

These apps are designed to do two things, instill fear in the populace and create a Private Citizen Spying Task Force!
 

Welcome to Police State America 2016 where “McCarthyism” has been euphemistically replaced with “Islamism”.

“During the McCarthy era, thousands of Americans were accused of being communists or communist sympathizers and became the subject of aggressive investigations and questioning before government or private-industry panels, committees and agencies. The primary targets of such suspicions were government employees, those in the entertainment industry, educators and union activists. Suspicions were often given credence despite inconclusive or questionable evidence, and the level of threat posed by a person’s real or supposed leftist associations or beliefs was often greatly exaggerated.”

The parallels between McCarthyism and Islamism are disturbing.

A dubious 2009 DHS report titled, “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment” wants Americans to believe there are potential threats everywhere. Seven years have passed, since DHS’s dubious claims that we should be worried about religious and racial hate groups as well as “those that are mainly antigovernment or rejecting government authority entirely.”

DHS’s report also singled out anti-abortion activists, gun owners, immigration opponents and returning veterans as potential terrorists.

The report, like McCarthyism has been beaten into the public’s consciousness and created a nation of fear

The truth is quite different than DHS/Police want you to know, violent crime in America is the lowest its been since 1968!

Please, don’t believe all the hype about terrorism and STOP spying on each other!
