Hello Mr. Science.. Why don’t you explain to the class how Radar and Radio waves work? And that you can’t hear radio waves after you pass a few hundred miles because you drove past the curve of the globe earth?

Actually, 30mhz and above is limited to LOS or NLOS (Line Of Site or Near Line Of Site) communications. Height matters. If two people have walkie-talkies and are using FRS (460mhz) and the two people are sitting in boats 4 miles apart on calm seas, they should be able to communicate given the fact that in sitting position they should be about 36″ above the water.

The radio waves “see” very much like your eye in that reflected light waves cannot travel over horizon and you can’t see much of the boat until you go to the observation deck.

Personally, I find it very revealing. I now ask people if they know about FET. If they do, I ask them what they think. The answer I get tends to shape my view of them. They’re not well traveled, well read, or well lived.

Our everyday lives are about flatness. While the curvature of the earth is about 8 inches per mile, we never really see it since gravity is based at the center and the 8 inches per mile is so slight that we don’t really have experiences that show it on an everyday basis. (Well, some of us do, but not many.) So, while flat earth shows both a lack of experience and an anti-establishment tilt, the one makes it somewhat comical to those of us that know, but the other is a good thing.
My fear is this: Many of my anti-establishment friends are FETers. As such, they are vehemently anti-establishment. My fear is government (or what pretends to be government) will use an FET litmus test to send them off to Camp FEMA.
So, please, continue in your FET discussions. I do find much of it childish and easily debunked, but, I also play Tic-Tac-Toe and Chess. Neither of which accomplish anything but both keep your brain alive. You guys want to play Flat-Earth-Theory, I will play that antagonist.

There are a lot of lies in this world, but not EVERYTHING we may once have believed to be true is a lie. That is like giving up the search, because you think it is just too hard, and settling for an extreme position (like EVERYTHING we have been taught is a lie). Jesus said: “Seek, and you WILL find.” But He did NOT say, that it would be EASY.
Striving for the truth is much harder; because it means you have to deal with the uncomfortable reality, that of all the things we thought were all true, SOME things are lies, and SOME are true.
Learning to know the difference can be a very hard task, and for that we need to keep Faith, and our faith gets tested.

This has yet to be proven to me. I know people in Alaska so I know it is true there.
However no one is allowed in Antarctica without governmental permission, so this cannot be verified by anyone but the very people who faked the moon landing and destroyed the twin towers in order to start a war in Arabia and their approved associates.
It would be so easy to prove this either way from the antarctic, maybe that is why no one but government approved personnel is allowed down there?

My eyes have opened,thanks to the flat earthers ! I had questions the 1st time i listened to a astro-not being questioned of what his emotions were when seeing earth from out there..i was on the edge of my seat cos i would have shouted Glory to God in the highest Who is and Who was and Who is to come !, but…this astro-not’s answer was : erm..nothing , it was not that amazing cos he had a job to do !…since then i questioned all of these cronies and NASA fake pictures. For all the so-called Christians out there..open your eyes ! No better go read Jeremiah 5:21.
