Wilson Combat has a new rimfire suppressor to help you be very quiet when hunting rabbits, or whatever else you do with your .22 caliber rifle or pistol.
The Arkansas-based company’s new titanium can, called WCR-22, is super-lightweight at 4.2 ounces. Inside is a machined 7075 aluminum baffle core. With the wrench that’s included, the user can removed the titanium tube in order to clean the interior of the tube and the core itself.
This suppressor is made with durability in mind. It can tolerate full-auto .22 LR fire as well as .22 Winchester Magnum use.
The specs: Overall length is six inches. Outer diameter, one inch. The thread interface is 416 SS. Thread pitch is 0.5 inches x 28.
No quantitative information is provided on decibel reduction. The product listing only describes it at “ultra-quiet.”
Wilson Combat’s corrosion- and heat-resistant Armor-Tuff provides the finish coat. Armor-Tuff is non-reflective for tactical and hunting use. Available finish colors are black, burnt bronze, flat dark earth, OD green, and gray.
