Former PA Governor Ed Rendell Says “Ugly Women Won’t Vote for Trump”… So Does that Mean Ugly Women Will Vote Hillary?

(First of all, who is exactly is this guy to judge again?)

Former Pennsylvania Governor and Philadelphia Mayor Ed Rendell recently said that Trump’s statements such as “You can’t be a 10 if you’re flat-chested,” etc. will come back to haunt him on election day because “There are probably more ugly women in America than attractive women. People take that stuff personally.”

In other words, ugly women won’t vote for Trump.

The full comment from WAPO:

“For every one he’ll lose one and a half, two Republican women. Trump’s comments like, ‘You can’t be a 10 if you’re flat-chested,’ that’ll come back to haunt him. There are probably more ugly women in America than attractive women. People take that stuff personally.”

But, at the same time, isn’t Rendell, a huge Clinton supporter and a Democrat, also basically saying then that ugly women will vote Hillary, whom he assumes is going to be the Democratic nominee?

So Hillary has the ugly woman vote on lock?

After he made the unintentionally rude and/or hilarious statement (depending on how you see it), Rendell officially apologized for the now viral quote with:

“What I said was incredibly stupid and insensitive,” Rendell told reporters in Philadelphia on Wednesday. “When I read it in the article, I said, ‘Did I say that?’ It was just dumb, and stupid, and insensitive, and if I offended anyone, I apologize.”

David Weigel, the WAPO journalist who wrote the original story, expanded on some more of Rendell’s interesting thoughts on Trump voters with:

Rendell is a sought-after talk show guest because of his colorful way around a quote. This eight-minute talk was no exception. At one point Rendell described the sentiment of a Trump-leaning voter as “I’d like to see him kick the s*** out of the Chinese.”

That’s funny, because the rest of the country thinks the average Hillary voter is just voting for her because she’s a woman.
