A house-broken bison has become a part of a Texas family, but the animal is being put up for sale as the owners try to find their hooved friend more room to roam.
According to WFAA in Dallas, the Schoeve family is putting Bullet the bison up for sale and is attracting attention with its Craigslist ad.
Bullet isn’t a typical bison, though. The female cow has become house-broken and gets a reprieve from the Texas heat within the Schoeve’s home.
“When she is hot and sweaty, she’ll come in and lay on the couch,” Karen Schoeve told WFAA. “No, I’m kidding — kind of. I mean, she comes in the house.”
Bullet is a good housemate, according to the Schoeves, but they’d like to find the animal a better place to live out its days.
