Introduced in the 1860s by Remington as the No.1, it was best know as a the “rolling block” and was both a popular hunting and military rifle around the world chambered in everything from .236 Remington to .58 Berdan Long for about 50 years or so.
Out of production by Big Green for a bit, Pedersoli makes almost a dozen models of this classic, such as the one in Hick’s use complete with some 405-grain lead pills.
