Toronto Police Threaten to Arrest Me and Steal Camera For Filming Nudist Event in Public
This video was submitted anonymously by a “Canadian Journalist” with Rebel Media operating out of Toronto, Canada.
An egalitarian feminist complained that he was photographing their topless demonstration and demanded that a Government thug use force against him in order to maintain her safe space. Apparently this misguided and naked freedom fighter failed to realize that there is no reasonable expectation of privacy in public.
While I find the woman’s behavior to be out line and her attempt to have another persons freedom removed in order to make her feel comfortable is completely disgusting. This is does not mean that I am against women being topless in public or am some sort of male chauvinist. I merely fail to see the logic in trying to have someone arrested for acting peacefully. Also it’s 2016 and everyone has a camera in their phone. When a spectacle of topless women comes charging down the street you have to imagine that at least a few of the spectators are going to take photos or shoot a video. If you are planning on attending an action that you may not want to be recognized at, think about ways you can mitigate being identified while participating.
Date of Incident: August 06, 2016
Officer Involved: C. Chang, #7724,
Department Involved: Toronto Police Services
Department Phone No.: (416) 808-2222Incident Overview:
On Saturday August 06, 2016, there was a Slutwalk Toronto event being held in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
I was interacting with one of the major media outlets in Canada called Rebel Media, and one of the Slutwalk demonstrators told me she was going to call the police on me. She went and complained to a Toronto police officer identified as C. Chang.
I went to Police Officer C. Chang in order to prevent myself from being falsely accused by this demonstrator, and it looked like he wasn’t fond of me filming him. He made an excuse to hide from the camera by stating how he is using his camera to film me, while he was hiding his face from my lens by moving his head, with the intent of making me stop filming when he used his camera and literally put the phone into my face, as you can see how his head and body was moving closer to mine.
Police officer C. Chang started to accuse me of filming naked women in a stalking way, and before I even explained to him how I was merely on a public park and sidewalk and I have every right to film for journalism, he started to interfere with my explanations. The video shows that I persistently requested on what grounds is filming in a park considered outright illegal.
Instead, the police officer focuses about harassment, even though I denied such allegations, and he did not even let me have a sufficient chance to explain the reasons why I film in public, such as to prevent false allegations from Slutwalk activists or bullies who might falsely accuse me of a crime in order to prevent me from legally gathering news content.
Fed up of not being able to assert my rights, I asked police officer C. Chang if it’s the case where naked white women are allowed to harass colored people like myself on the street, and he started to become angry.
C. Chang told me to look up “Criminal Harassment” and he threatened to arrest me and seize my camera if anyone during Slutwalk complained about me legally filming them in a public park.
I didn’t even have the chance to explain to the police officer how I didn’t even stalk or “harass” anyone by filming in public as a news journalist, but the police officer took the word of one Slutwalk demonstrator and made me liable for a police arrest and seizure of my property because of bogus harassment complaints.
In other words, filming in public in Canada is considered illegal as long as someone complains that they “feel harassed.” This is outrageous on the part of the police to consider filming in public as a pre-cursor to harassment.

Toronto Police officers might petition YouTube to take down the video. Canadian laws generally do not protect freedom of speech and freedom of the press as in the United States of America. This video shows what would become of the USA should First Amendment rights be lessened or abolished.
