I’m really shocked that they got most of this story right. Morton County Sheriff does continue to lie out of his ass. His claim that the water was from a fire truck hose and not a water cannon is one hell of a lie and that it was only used to put out fires that the protectors started. You can zoom in on the photo on this post and clearly see it’s not a fire truck and you can see there are no fires on the protectors side.
What the Morton County Sheriff Department and other law enforcement
did on Sunday night was attempted murder and brutal violence against American Citizens.
Latest numbers coming out of Standing Rock are even more egregious
- 300 protesters injured, and close to 30 have been hospitalized.
Most have hypothermia from being sprayed with water cannons in freezing temperatures, while others were struck with rubber bullets and concussion grenades.
One woman is likely going to lose her arm due to the latter, and one man’s vision was compromised by a bullet.
Another had a grand mal seizure from getting struck.
And still crickets from the White House.
And what do you know…the fairest, most accurate reporting on the violence against the water protectors is from a foreign, independent press not owned by a billionaire who has any stock in this project or ones like it.
Hmmm…it’s almost like American mainstream media is biased or something. Ya think??

I’m not arguing the politics of the pipeline now.
I am saying water canons against people is not acceptable.

Over the years, I’ve seen so many videos like this, mostly set in India.
One such war is going on in Chattisgarh right now, where the police,
who have raped women, killed people, and set fire to villages, just charged leading human-rights activists with murder.
I’m not really surprised to see the war being fought so openly in the US,
which shelters some of the most predatory corporations in the world.
Usually, though, they do their dirty work out of sight, in far-off places.
It’s a sign of the times that they don’t feel the need to hide any more – BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT BEING HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR UNLAWFUL ACTIONS AGAINST THE PEOPLE AND BECAUSE THE ‘GOVERNMENT’ IS CONDONING THIS BY THEIR ALLOWING THESE ATROCITIES AND INFRINGEMENTS TO CONTINUE AGAINST THE PEOPLE
I’m not sure I have the energy to join in on this particular battle right now,
but if you’re one of those people not realizing how US police troopshave become a militarized and dangerous extension of corporate interest, you’re incorrect and possibly a lunatic.

What happened last night at #StandingRock is horrifying.
