According to AMN News, Russian warplanes launched airstrikes, targeting supply lines US-supported terrorists use in Aleppo and Idlib provinces – for replenishing their ranks along with providing their fighters with weapons, munitions and other material support.
“Several Russian air battalions have been reportedly pounding the main jihadist supply road (M-5 Highway) from Idlib to Aleppo, inflicting heavy damage to a number of armored vehicles and militant bases,” AMN News explained.
Weapons and munitions were destroyed. Kurdish-affiliated Hawar News reported terrorists using Turkish M60 tanks and other heavy weapons.
According to Fars News, Syrian warplanes struck terrorists’ supply routes and positions in Aleppo and Idlib provinces, citing a military source.
Russian and Syrian warplanes continue flying over terrorist-held areas at all times, monitoring supply lines, striking targets of opportunity.
Separately, US-supported terrorists shelled the Aleppo University campus, students and displaced Syrians located there, no government forces, at least seven deaths reported, many others injured. Missing students are feared dead, buried under rubble.
Terrorists shell Western Aleppo residential areas daily. The West and supportive media scoundrels ignore their atrocities, wrongfully blaming Russian and Syrian forces for their high crimes.
In Quneitra province, near Israeli-occupied Golan, its warplanes targeted a Syrian military site, causing damage, no casualties reported, Netanyahu’s regime partnered with Obama’s aggression against Syrian sovereign independence.
A Syrian military statement said “(t)his attack c(ame) after the success of our armed forces, in cooperation with popular defense groups, in thwarting a wide attack carried out by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist(s) on Hadar and its surroundings in Quneitra, killing tens of terrorists and inflicting heavy losses on them in arms and equipment.”
