(Before It's News)

Thugs Protest Democracy

When Barack Obama won the presidency, in Nov. 2007 beginning his imperial eight-year reign,  he was quick to remind dejected Republicans, “I won!”

As unhappy as we were with the outcome, there were no reports of Republicans beating up elderly Democrats, rampaging, setting cars on fire, looting or hanging replicas of Obama in effigy.

High schools didn’t close to allow students and their teachers to march in protest on state capitols. University professors didn’t postpone midterm exams under pressure from traumatized student councils claiming students were unable to sleep the previous night as the returns showed Donald Trump emerging as the clear winner. Some students were unable to concentrate and cried during class. Teachers didn’t bizarrely compare Obama to Hitler and his victory to the horrors of the Holocaust. The latest mantra of the left is “Trump is not my president.” Now, some are promising blood in the streets.

Breitbart reports anti-Trump protesters are being recruited and rented on Craigslist. The effort is funded by multi- billionaire radical leftist George Soros, who, coincidentally, is a major donor to both Hillary Clinton and John McCain.

Distraught Oregon liberals have filed a petition for a 2018 ballot initiative allowing Oregon to secede from the United States. Liberals in California, want to join with the wing nuts in Nevada, Washington State and Oregon.

Let them. The savings in federal (taxpayer) dollars could be used as a drop in the bucket to pay down the massive debt of nearly $20 trillion we have incurred under the reign of Barack Obama. He’s only 55 and will be out of work.  The exiting states could bring him on as their monarch.

When Republicans lost, we grumbled, but went on with our lives because we understood that democracy isn’t a magic genie presenting us with our every wish. We acknowledged the hard truth that the Republican party fielded weak candidates with John McCain and Mitt Romney.

We knew there’d be other elections and we would be even better prepared. Now we are the ones who can say, “We won!”
