In the weeks preceding the Nov. 8 election, Arizona’s two pretentious Republicrat senators John McCain and Jeff Flake went to great lengths denigrating Donald Trump — they each made a grand show of saying they would not vote for him. McCain’s statement can be read here. One of Jeff Flake’s many public declarations on the subject are here.
Now Trump is the president-elect, and the duplicitous duo are vying to be the one to plant the most kisses on his posterior. These two hypocrites would do well to remember that the symbol of the Republican Party is the elephant — noted for it’s excellent memory. Since both McCain and Flake are unreliable squish Republicrats, we should never forget that they each voted against Trump. Regardless of how you slice it, those were votes for Hillary Clinton — who is as much a bottom dragger in the areas of honesty and trustworthiness as these two goons are. The Daily Caller noted that John McCain’s abysmal 30 percent approval rating was topped only by Jeff Flake, whose approval rating has fallen to 27 percent!
McCain’s change of heart tweet:
“Congrats to President-Elect Donald Trump. As Chairman of the Armed Service Committee, I’ll work to confront national security challenges and support troops.”
The words McCain publicly used to describe his own his own wife were far worse than what he claimed was so offensive.
Jeff the Flake was also quick to lavish praise:
“Congrats to President-Elect Trump on a big win and a gracious and healing speech. I look forward to working with him. Now, back to eating crow.”
Flake’s son Tanner used far more offensive language, denigrating any and all on his Facebook postings. Tanner never had to acknowledge his despicable behavior and apologize. Daddy apologized for him.
Hypocrisy is the name of the game with these two fraudulent Republicans. Trust them at your own peril.
