Nesara.news is back up and running! Explanation and Request
Greetings Nesaranews Readers~
I have had a difficult time with nesara.news and web hosts. The first host Lunarpages was shutting me down for running over 1% on a shared server and wanted to charge me an outrageous price $1,500 per year for a dedicated server. I did some research and settled with another host company with a dedicated server for $870 per year. Yes I pay that out of my pocket without assistance from anyone.
A month after I moved my websites to the dedicated server one of the RAID drives took a dump and crashed the server and needed new drives installed. Well, after all the hard work I did and a couple weeks of uploading and settings, I finally have the websites back up and running! With the attacks China is doing in the name of taking down “Fake News” websites that are sharing the real news, it is only a matter of time before nesaranews.blogspot.com hosted by Google is taken down. I created nesara.news to be the alternative non-Google platform to replace this blog in the event of a takedown. I am doing all I can to upload the archives from this blog to the new one. I am also attempting to mirror the recent posts from this blog as well. That’s a lot of work.
The b2evolution software I am using for the new blog has many features that the old blogger software does not. The ability to attach files to posts and comments is very cool! I can embed videos directly into the new blog that I could not do in blogger. Blogger videos must be hosted elsewhere like youtube, DailyMotion, and Vimeo that can be censored. Videos I upload directly to nesara.news cannot be censored! Posts on nesara.news can be easily shared to social networks with a click of the “Share This” button. I have also had readers tell me they have not been able to comment on nesaranews.blogspot.com and they like nesara.news because they can submit comments. I also have https enabled that makes sharing posts with other platforms much easier.
I am inviting those of you who want to be a publisher on nesara.news to send an email to [email protected] with “publisher” in the subject line and I will get with you on it.
The best part of this new server is that I am the only one that has access to it! Nobody can get in and screw with it or shut it down without a serious attack. If by any chance nesara.news gets hit by a hack, it will not take long to get it back up and running.
