Turkish Newspapers Blame CIA, “Western Alliance” for Russian Ambassador Shooting

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Here’s the kind of Tweet you won’t see reported on with funny little anecdotes at sites like Twitchy…

Turkish newspapers are openly blaming the CIA and the “Western Alliance” on the front pages of their newspapers for the highly publicized assassination of Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrey Karlov on Sunday.

This comes as Turkish President Erdogan said, “I believe this is an attack on Turkey, the Turkish state and the Turkish people, and also a clear provocation … [in terms of] Turkish-Russian relations. I am sure our Russian friends also see this fact. Both Turkey and Russia have the will not to be deceived by this provocation.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin responded similarly, saying, “This murder is clearly a provocation aimed at undermining the improvement and normalization of Russian-Turkish relations…”

Putin has also given a chilling warning that the killers will “feel it”.

The shooting comes just days after it was reported that Russia and Turkey were planning to meet over a complete ceasefire in Syria outside of the purview of the UN and without US involvement.

Gee, now who could be a little miffed about meetings like that?

Meanwhile, State Department Propaganda Peddler Spokesman John Kirby has come out in response to say that any assertion the US was involved is ludicrous and a false claim that has no basis in truth whatsoever.

Right… if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, is wearing a T-shirt that says, “I’m a duck,” it may sound glue-sniffing insane but chances are… it just might be a duck.
