Jeff Flake determined to fulfill Obama’s amnesty legacy

RINO Jeff Flake fails to remember that elephants never forget

Arizona’s U.S. Sens. Jeff Flake and his mentor John McCain are inextricably bonded to amnesty for foreign invaders, forming a bond that continues along the path McCain initially forged with Ted Kennedy and persists with liberals such as Chuck Schumer, Dick Durbin and Robert Menendez.

The Daily Caller reported in 2013 that McCain and Flake were in a race for the least popular senator prize. And why not? The bill they were pushing “would award amnesty to at least 11 million illegals, double the influx of Democrat-leaning immigrants to two million per year for the next decade, and double the annual inflow of guest workers above one million in perpetuity. That’s enough new immigrants and guest-workers to equal the 40 million Americans expected to turn 18 during the next decade.”

The bill was wildly popular among liberals hoping to increase their voter base, and business lobbyists supportive of a continued influx of cheap labor, but is toxic among GOP and Independent voters, who believe a sovereign nation has a right to a secure and enforceable border

Yet when Jeff Flake was rated at a bottom dragging 27 percent approval rating,  he smirked and said, “That’s the beauty of a six year term,” implying that voters are too dim-witted to remember his finger in their eye.

He’s already in campaign mode, sending out requests for campaign contributions as he calls us “friend” and refers to himself as a “conservative.” He arrogantly asks us to stand with him, even as he steadfastly refused to stand with our Republican presidential nominee — now President Donald Trump. 

The Gang of Eighters, of which Flake was an integral part, are looking at reviving their amnesty effort even as the past election was a sweeping repudiation of Barack Obama’s policies. Republicans won the presidency, majorities in the U.S. House and Senate and control the state legislatures in 32 states.  Republican governors now lead in 31 states. Our message resonated. It was not Flake’s message. Jeff Flake was a regular basketball playing buddy of Obama’s and a dependable traveling companion, accompanying Obama to Kenya and the Communist nation of Cuba.

Now Jeff Flake is trying to lasso in the Hispanic constituency to keep himself politically viable, while attempting to appeal to those who want illegal criminals off our streets. There are at least a couple of things that go unstated, with his supposed SAFE Act.  One, expediting the deportation of criminal aliens convicted of serious and violent crimes is no solution. As we have witnessed repeatedly, deportation is no hindrance. They return to commit more violence. Criminal illegals need to be tried and incarcerated here, where their ability to kill and maim innocents is ended.

Flake is pushing the toothless Obama scheme of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and oddly attempting to tie it to the deportation of criminal aliens, while soft soaping the claims of being brought to the U.S. as a child and not convicted of a crime — enabling them to request deferred action of removal proceedings for a period of two years, subject to renewal.

These impossible to verify foreign nationals, farcically renamed  “dreamers” —  many now adults with families of their own — all claim they were brought here before the age of 16 in violation of the law by their illegal parents. Recipients of this largess must have been under 31 years of age as of June 15, 2012; They also profess they will join the military or enroll in college, where they bizarrely qualify for in-state tuition. They will be competing with American citizen kids for college placement and jobs. There are no provisions for verification of these claims or enforcement of failures to comply

Aren’t the lives of Mesa resident Grant Ronnebeck, 22,  Kate Steinle, 32, and countless others killed by repeatedly deported illegals, more important than political correctness and Flaky deceit?
