Among the various propaganda publications ISIS periodically releases, documenting their motivation and plans in plain English is “Rumiyah,” and the fifth edition was released just days ago.
Rumiyah is the classical Arabic word for “Rome,” which is in reference to an Islamic prophecy that predicts the fall of Rome. The name of their other magazine, “Dabiq,” makes reference to the city in which they believe an apocalyptic battle with the “Infidel” will take place.
As usual, the latest edition of Rumiyah calls for terror attacks against the West, and lists specific targets within America.
In its latest edition of its monthly “Rumiyah” magazine, the terror group called upon ‘lone-wolf’ jihadis to launch arson attacks, explaining how setting large blazes requires minimal effort in simply obtaining a canister of gasoline—a task that “should not arouse any suspicion.”
“Incendiary attacks have played a significant role in modern and guerilla warfare,” the author writes, offering a suggested list of soft targets, including nightclubs, schools, hospitals and churches.
A picture of the First Baptist Church, a Dallas mega church, appears with the caption: “A popular Crusader gathering place waiting to be burned down.”
“A specific church in Dallas, mentioned in Rumiyah, is taking things to a new level,” commented Graeme Wood, author of “The Way of the Strangers: Encounters with the Islamic State” a new book focusing on the mindset of Islamic State believers.
Texas: BE ON GUARD! In recent years there have been visions by many of the destruction of the Dallas metroplex. In recent years muslims have been observed taking multiple photographs of various buildings, both interior and exterior, in particular in the downtown location. Reports of ‘intel’ attest to plans to also attack the communities in outlying areas, and schools have been noted. Children in particular are to be attacked.
