Cops fatally shoot man on stabbing spree in Hollywood (VIDEO)
An officer-involved shooting on Hollywood’s famous Sunset Boulevard left one man dead after he went on a rampage and stabbed several people.
Police were called to a Jack in the Box restaurant around 2 p.m. where they found two people critically injured. Authorities later learned of a third victim who was riding a bicycle nearby when the suspect approached him and stabbed him before running down the street to the Jack in the Box. A fourth victim was left with minor injuries and refused medical treatment, according to police.
The man apparently tried to enter a nearby coffee shop as well, but attentive customers noticed the man, knew something was awry and kept him from entering the shop.
Authorities do not have a specific motive for the stabbing spree, but some witnesses said it appeared the man was mentally unstable.
