      For lung and sinus mucus, I take Mrs. Dash Table Blend (see below).

      My preference to prevent colds and flu in the first place is to take quercetin dihydrate to protect my lungs and sinuses. A year ago I tried stopping taking quercetin for a month and only then did I realize quercetin had been giving me energy and keeping me well.

      Mornings I take a 400 mg capsule of SwansonVitamin’s NOW brand “Quercetin with Bromelain,” and I believe it protects my lungs and sinuses. I haven’t had a chest cold in 2 years when I used to take one each winter. I will be decreasing the daily dose to Swanson’s 250 mg quercetin and I think that will be enough. Quercetin also gives me energy.

      To liquefy lung and sinus mucus, for decades I have taken a daily level half teaspoon of the 14 herb “Mrs. Dash Table Blend” seasoning, available at most groceries like Walmart. It should start to clear lung and sinus mucus within 2 weeks or sooner. Increasing the dose doesn’t seem to increase, speed up or improve the effect.
      Last Fall I was hoarse and couldn’t clear my throat. I started taking 1/2 level teaspoon daily of the Mrs. Dash Table Blend and my throat cleared the same day. There are several flavors of Mrs. Dash, but only the Table Blend has ever liquefied mucus for me.

      Both the quercetin and the Mrs. Dash Table Blend keep my lungs and sinuses functioning smoothly. I would try quercetin for several months for any lung malady, and I’m glad I take quercetin to hopefully prevent the same.
