Sachtleben investigated the bombing at the U.S. Embassy in Kenya, the USS Cole bombing in Yemen, the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, and the 1995 Oklahoma City federal building bombing. Sachtleben even organized the search of the Unabomber Ted Kaczynski’s Lincoln, Mont., cabin. He penned Kaczynski’s arrest affidavit. Sachtleben allegedly used the network of a 73-year-old Illinois man to share 220 child pornography images during one night in September 2010. He was caught because he used the [email protected] email address from his home, where agents found 30 images on a laptop that he also used for work.”
