A look at Sig Sauer’s new titanium tubed SRD22X suppressor (VIDEO)

Introduced this year is Sig’s 22LR can that is tough enough to take on WMR and .17 HMR loads, and Guns.com was able to get close up and personal.

Sig’s suppressor guru and keeper of the quiet, John Hollister, was on hand at the 146th National Rifle Association  Annual Meetings and Exhibits at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, and spoke about the new SRD22X above.

While the can may be lightweight at 5.1-ounces, it punches out of its weight class due to its Grade 9 titanium tube and 17-4 steel baffles that deliver 110dB on average with standard .22LR ammo.

Using a 1/2x 28tpi mount, with an available M9x.75 rear mount, the suppressor is fully user serviceable, which is a must when dealing with notoriously dirty rimfire lead heads.
