Torture Chamber Challenge - Outside Bundy Prison - March Against Prison Abuse At Nevada Southern Detention Center

The March On Southern, across the street from the Nevada Southern Detention Center in Pahrump, NV continues. This is where Cliven, Ammon, and Ryan Bundy, along with the other Bunkerville stand up Patriot Political Prisoners have been held, denied bail, not yet charged of a crime for over 450 days.  This is day 4 of the stand. This stand is not just for them, but to bring awareness to all the prison abuse that is taking place in these private, for profit prisons. It’s all about the money.

The prison is no longer on lockdown. When the protestors started showing up last Thursday, they locked the prison down, cancelling all visits and all calls for all of the inmates. The guards told them, “Blame the Bundys!”  The inmates didn’t buy it and went on strike themselves. The prison finally caved and the lockdown ended. The local Sheriff called off the NSDC when they tried to say the marchers trespassed.

People are coming from all over to stand against prison abuse, Nevada, Oregon, California, Montana, Utah, Montana, Colorado and more. The media is ignoring it, as usual. The locals have been donating food, water, supplies, and today porta pottys! 

Today we started a “Torture Chamber Challenge”.  We built a 3×3 “cell”, the size that Ammon Bundy was held in, cuffed behind his back and shackled, no food, water, or bathroom breaks, for 13 hours. This challenge is to raise funds for the Bundy Defense team fund. We were able to get Morgan Philpott, Ammon’s lawyer, down to NV from Portland.  Morgan worked on the case in Portland, OR which found the first group Not Gulty! We can’t rely on the court assigned public defenders as they are not invested, get paid either way the verdict comes down.
