A BIZARRE “floating city” appears to have formed in the sky above mystified onlookers in a new online video that is going viral.

The question is whether or not it is real or some kind of CGI fakery?

This is not the first time this strange event has occurred in the skies over China. This is the FIFTH time people have reported and pictured what appears to be floating cities in the sky.

Could it be a fake made with CGI?

Is it part of Project Blue Beam?

Or are we seeing images from another dimension merging into ours?

It is at least the fifth time in six years that the mysterious phenomenon has happened in the skies above China.

In January, people in Yeuyang reported a floating city appearing from behind the clouds.

There was a remarkable city scene that also appeared to emerge from the clouds over Jiangxi city and another area in late 2015.

Before that that was a major sighting in 2011 over many parts of China.

In the new video, at first, it looks like a huge singular object, but when the cameraman turns to the right the object looks more and more like a skyscraper.

No other footage of the startling event has emerged, so some people have claimed it could just be an edited hoax recording.

FATA MORGANA

One of the explainations the “scientists” give us any time something like this happens is to say it is a natural optical illusion called “Fata Morgana”.

Fata Morgana  is an unusual and complex form of superior mirage that is seen in a narrow band right above the horizon. It is the Italian name for the Arthurian sorceress Morgan le Fay, from a belief that these mirages, often seen in the Strait of Messina, were fairy castles in the air or false land created by her witchcraft to lure sailors to their deaths. Although the term Fata Morgana is sometimes applied to other, more common kinds of mirages, the true Fata Morgana is different from both an ordinary superior mirage and an inferior mirage.

The optical illusion is caused by rays of light are bent when they pass through air layers of different temperatures in a steep thermal inversion where an atmospheric duct has formed.

Is this what we are seeing over China?
