Unfortunately the intrepid reporter concludes that Trump is with the people and not the deep state. You can be sure that Trump has already been neutralized. You need look no further than his foreign policies. Invasion of Yemen, and Syria both illegally, maintaining a military presence in Iraq and Afghanistan and provocation of N. Korea. These are all enemies of Israel incidentally. Then there is sanctions against Russia for their takeover of Crimea. Nobody mentions that in a referendum the population overwhelming wanted to be a part of Russia; is that the Orwellian speak equivalent of a violent invasion of a foreign nation. Why doesn’t the US hold a referendum in Syria to see if the people want an American invasion of that country.
Trump promised to open a dialogue with Putin. Where has that gone? So how has Trump made America safer. He now supports NATO forces and missiles in Russia’s back yard. He continues to support sanctions against Russia. He promotes the provocation of China in the S. China Sea. He is sabre rattling with N. Korea. Just look at the foreign policy and tell me it is not have a 100% correlation with deep state policies.
The only area where I see Trump sticking to his promises is on his stance on the Paris Accords.The scam that Climate change is, is so apparent to anyone with two brain cells to rub together that Trump stood his ground to gain a little credibility with his quickly eroding constituency of support.
Trump knows that in a war the most vulnerable piece of public infrastructure and the most important is the power grid. For a few billion dollars it could be hardened against an EMP attack that would be inevitable in any attack on the US. This would be devastating to America especially knowing that all the transformers are manufactured by a potential enemy China. Instead Trump prefers to add billions to the current military hardware budget.
To believe Trump is fighting the deep state is naive thinking. If he was genuine in his campaign, he has been taken out to the woodshed and had a sobering discussion about what happens to presidents who don’t take orders.
Trump is surrounded by citizens with dual allegiance, CFR and Tri-lateral members and war hawks. Dream on folks. This guy is Obama on steroids.
