I don’t see his point. Do I understand correctly that Jason A is against gene editing? Why? He seems to present no arguments in his case. If Jason A was diagnosed with some fatal condition to which there was a genetic component (as I suspect most chronic conditions have) where the solution would consist of getting his genes edited, I’m sure he would make use of that possiibility which this new technology offers. I don’t see anthing creepy or unnatural about that. No more unnatural than getting a liver/hear/kidney transplant or a hip replacement.
