Between the 24th and 26th Venus is part of two alignments, one with Earth and Saturn and the other with Jupiter and Uranus. This may cause larger seismic movement between the 25th and 30th.

Partial Lunar Eclipse August 2017 – MUST SEE

In August 7-8 2017, sky gazers will be treated to a partial lunar eclipse and it will coincide with the Sturgeon Full Moon. 

A partial lunar eclipse will take place on August 7/8, 2017, the second of two lunar eclipses in 2017. The Moon will only be slightly covered by the Earth’s umbral shadow at maximum eclipse.

When only a part of the moon enters Earth’s shadow, the event is called a partial lunar eclipse. During this type of eclipse the Earth moves between the Sun and the Moon, but they are not precisely aligned. Only part of the Moon’s visible surface moves into the Earth’s shadow.

The southern portion of the full moon will dip into the Earth’s dark umbral shadow for nearly two hours, from 17:23 to 19:18 UTC on August 7, 2017.

The partial lunar eclipse will be visible from most parts of South and East Asia, Europe, Africa and Australia.

This will precede by 14 days the total solar eclipse of August 21, 2017, which will be the first total solar eclipse visible in the contiguous United States since the February 26, 1979 eclipse.
The last time a total solar eclipse swept the whole width of the U.S. was in 1918.
