The US put its Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) missile shield to the test in May, firing an intercontinental ballistic missile from the Marshall Islands and knocking it out of the sky with a missile fired from California.
The long-planned test vindicated the expensive, complicated effort to defend the US homeland from missile attacks —but there’s still no stopping a real attack from a determined foe like North Korea.
On Tuesday, North Korea successfully tested a missile which experts say could reach Alaska.

This would matter if North Korea actually had a ICBM. But they don’t. Have you learned nothing from the fake WMA’s in Iraq and the mischaracterized chemical attacks in Syria? The Russians identify this latest missile as an intermediate range missile which flew less than 600 km. But… any excuse for a war.
It’s the USA who should not be allowed to have nukes. After all, we are the only country that has used them, killing hundreds of thousands. How many people has North Korea killed with nukes? None, I’m thinking. What makes us so special? The amount of violence we spread around the world, I guess.
