FL: More on Burglary Suspect Shot with AK type Rifle
WCSO reported a homeowner in the 1800 block of Pettis Road was awakened by his wife about 2:45 a.m. Sunday after she heard a loud noise outside their home. The man reported finding three males burglarizing a vehicle in his front yard that contained a firearm.
The man confronted the suspects with an AK-47, at which point they began to flee, WCSO reported. However, one suspect, later identified as Tristen Wilson, 19, of Panama City Beach, turned back toward the homeowner in a manner that made him fear he was about to be shot, so the homeowner opened fire.
