Contacting Your Guardian Angel: Touch Messages

Ways Your Angel May Send Messages by Touch During Prayer or Meditation

Your guardian angel may reach out of the spiritual realm and into the physical realm to touch you while you’re contacting him or her during prayer or meditation. Here are some of the different ways your guardian angel may send you a message through touch that you can feel in your physical body.

An Embrace – Angel Hug

When your guardian angel senses that you especially need encouragement, your angel may embrace you in a way that feels as if another person is there hugging you, yet no one is visible.

You may experience your angel’s embrace in any of the different ways that you could experience a human embrace, with sensations such as someone holding your hand, rubbing your hair, patting you on the shoulders or back, or embracing you in a hug.

This may happen particularly if you’re praying or meditating about something that is causing you great pain, such as a trauma of some kind that you’ve gone through.

A Warmer Temperature

Since angels are full of warmth from the light that radiates from them, you may feel the temperature rise in the place where you’re praying or meditating when your guardian angel moves close to you. Feeling a sudden warm sensation may indicate that your angel is touching you at that moment.

This type of touch sends a message that your guardian angel is constantly watching over you and caring for you.

A Current of Electrical Power

Angels work within light rays that contain electromagnetic energy, and when your guardian angel is communicating with you about something important, you may sense that energy touching you in a physical way.

You may feel as if a current of electrical power is flowing through your body. The sensation is quite powerful, yet doesn’t hurt you, as high voltage physical electricity would.

When you guardian angel touches you in this way, he or she is communicating a message designed to encourage you or urge you to do something that God is leading you to do.

Angelic Wind or Breeze

Spirit often manifests in the physical world as wind, so your guardian angel may touch you in the form of a gentle breeze brushing by your face or ruffling your hair, or as a wind rushing around you.

If you’re praying or meditating inside and haven’t left any windows or doors open for a natural breeze or wind to blow through, you’ll know that any sudden breeze or wind you feel is likely coming from your guardian angel. Another telltale sign is if air movement affects you, but none of the objects around you are affected (such as when a pile of papers on a table near you is undisturbed).

This type of touch often indicates that your guardian angel has some guidance or news to communicate to you.

Liquid Sensation

When your guardian angel touches you, you may feel a sensation of warm liquid being poured over you. The liquid feels rich and pervasive, like honey or oil. Your angel may touch just a certain part of your body (such as your head) this way, or you may feel the liquid sensation completely encompass you.

This type of touch is a message meant to convey deep, unconditional love for you.

Feeling Someone Sit Down Beside You

You may feel the physical sense of your guardian angel sitting beside you on a sofa, bench, chair, the floor, or a bed, wherever you are when you’re praying or meditating.

You may even see the impression someone sitting there (such as crease marks on a sofa or on bed sheets), yet not see the physical form of your angel himself or herself.

By sitting down beside you, your guardian angel is sending you the message that he or she is listening carefully to the thoughts and feelings you’re expressing.
