Nearly Boxing Day (AGAIN) and still no Planet X - Right Capt. PE?
Well, we find ourselves past yet another turkey-induced coma, scanning the sky for even a mild hint of a sighting of the Mystical, Magical Killer Planet that is supposedly STILL on an incoming path for global destruction. [YAWN] <—- That was actual boredom with this whole mess, not more turkey madness!
Christmas 2016 was set for the Big Day, and I had all of my stash of pink salt prepared for Capt. PE, Butthurt Bob, and Caca to endulge on Boxing Day (nobody likes a bland hat to eat, right?). Boxing Day begat Cinco de Mayo, and the Blood Moons were just that, normal eclipses of our ROUND Erf’, and still nothing in the Killer Planet Department.

So, if it’s nine years away, approximately what size telescope should I be using to try and spot it before any other amateur astronomer gets the scoop on me? Currently, I have one that can see as far as Uranus [INSERT RIM SHOT HERE]…. But seriously, I can image Saturn with regularity {and alacrity!!!!}
