Satellite Photos Show North Korea Preparing Another Missile Launch

North Korea carried out its first missile test in more than two months earlier this week, ending the longest stretch of calm since President Trump took office. But according to satellite images exclusively obtained by Fox News, the North Korean military is already constructing another launch pad at the Panghyon Airbase in North Pyongyang – the same site where it carried out its July 4 launch of an ICBM.

This suggests that the North is already preparing for its next missile test.

Analysts at Image Sat International spotted the construction just days after the rogue nation launched an ICBM that North Korea claimed was powerful enough to carry a “super-heavy nuclear warhead” that could strike the “mainland of the U.S.”

According to the ImageSat analysts, who are closely following North Korean military activity, this is “the first time that they have decided to rebuild a site that they have used before.”

The photos, dated Nov. 23 and 24, appear to show the development of another launch pad just a few yards away from the one used during the July 4 Hwasong-14 ICBM launch, as well as a newly renovated access road.

Constructed in the 1980s, the Panghyon site is North Korea’s primary aircraft production, repair, and research facility.

The satellite images also show the construction of an aircraft hangar, as well as airplanes being moved and stored in hangers on the tarmac.

With the recent launch of another ICBM and the construction of additional launching pads, North Korea continues to defy the US-led world outrage over its nuclear program and is determined to bring it to completion.

The Hwasong-15 rocket tested by the North Tuesday was themost powerful of the three ICBMs tested by the Kim regime so far. Furthermore, the mobile night launch appeared aimed at testing new capabilities and demonstrating that Pyongyang would be able to strike back to any attempt at a preventative strike against the regime. The missile’s peak height and record flight time also helped confirm the Pentagon’s worst fears: The North now possesses the capability to strike nearly any target on the continental US.

Russia plan for MILITARY intervention in North Korea to stop a NUCLEAR apocalypse

RUSSIA is looking at the possibility of military intervention in North Korea to stop a nuclear fallout, according to a member of the Russian security council.

Following North Korea’s declaration earlier this week that it now has nuclear capability to target the whole of the US, Russia’s Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev has confirmed Russia is considering its options.

Mr Patrushev admitted that Pyongyang’s actions had put Russia at risk due to the potential of an outbreak of war.

He said: “If there is military action – and you know some countries do not rule it out – this would create all sorts of problems, including for us.”

Donald Trump continually said he would use military intervention in North Korea if the US or any of its allies were put at risk.

Addressing South Korea’s National Assembly in November Trump insisted that the US would “not be intimidated” by Kim Jong-un’s rhetoric and called for other countries to respond to the “twisted regimes” threats with a sign of military force.

He also warned the “three largest aircraft carriers in the world are appropriately positioned” to face Pyongyang.

He has also previously called diplomatic negotiations with the rogue state a “waste of time”.

Mr Patrushev also said that Russia was getting ready for a military standoff between its unruly neighbour and other states around the world.

He said: “We are assessing this and preparing ourselves. We will not be taken by surprise.”

He added: “We basically share a border with them. That’s why we are interested in a political and diplomatic solution.”

Tensions between North Korea and the US have risen in recent months as Mr Trump and his Korean counter-part have taken part in a war of words.

Addressing the UN in October Trump called Kim Jong-un “rocket man on a suicide mission” and vowed to “totally destroy” the corrupt nation.

However, the rhetoric between the two nations heated up earlier this week following another missile test by North Korea.

The North Korean missile was fired eastwards from the hermit state. The missile landed about 210km west of Japan’s Kyurokujima island, Tokyo said.

Japanese media reports the missile was in the air for 50 minutes – indicating a very high altitude flight path.

It travelled east for around 620 miles and to an altitude of 2,500 miles before crashing into the Sea of Japan.

The Korean Central News Agency made a statement following the missile test in which they bragged that they now had the ability to hit “all the US mainland”.

Trump responded to the new threat by ominously saying “we will deal with it”.

Russian Military Deploys Marines on North Korea Border Region After Kim Jong Un’s Missile Test

Russian marines have practiced landing operations at its border with North Korea, following Pyongyang’s controversial missile launch test this week, the military said. Russian naval infantry servicemen and the crews of Russia’s Pacific Fleet ships Admiral Nevelskoy and Peresvet, carried out a swift, amphibious charge on a beachhead in the Primorye region, Russia’s only one to border North Korea.

The cargo and staff boarded Admiral Nevelskoy at Desantnaya Bay and simulated the landing at the Klerk training range, both of which are in Primorye, Pacific Fleet spokesman Nikolay Voskresenskiy told state-run news agency RIA NovostiPeresvet made its pickup elsewhere but also arrived in the area near Klerk.

The drill comes a day before the Pacific Fleet kicks off a series of training exercises in Primorye and the far more eastern Kamchatka, involving around 1,000 troops and over 150 items of equipment. The drills will involve live fire exercises.

It is one of a series of recent drills in the Primorye region over the last few months. Russia has effectively practiced bombing near the regionparatrooper landings and other maneuvers since September. Each drill, declared separately from any previously announced war games, has come alongside escalating exchanges in the war of words between North Korea and the U.S.

Moscow opposes North Korea’s nuclear program on principle and protested the regime’s latest missile launch. However, Russia has insisted that the U.S. must shoulder part of the blame for stirring the North Korean regime into a frenzy and “provoking” further tests with its ongoing defense commitments to nearby Japan and South Korea.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov renewed the accusation against the U.S. government on Thursday, saying that recent U.S. drills with its regional allies were “consciously directed at provoking Pyongyang to some new snap actions,” the Interfax news agency reported.

After this week’s test by the North Korean regime, Pyongyang has declared it has the entire U.S. mainland within its missile range, after a summer of testing warheads and rockets. The latest test, purportedly of the North’s new Hwasong-15 missile, was the first in two months.

The U.S. envoy to the U.N. Nikki Haley announced that the White House was urging countries to cut trade ties with the regime in response to the test. Russia is one of the few states maintaining significant trade with North Korea, alongside China. India, the regime’s second-largest trading partner in 2015, declared it was banning commerce with the regime last spring.
