“Dreamers”: The not so dreamy facts

Writing for the Heritage Foundation, Senior Legal Fellow Hans von Spakovsky, a former FEC Commissioner and DOJ lawyer, provides the hard facts in a report titled, “Not-So-Beautiful Dreamers: The Reality Behind the Media Airbrushing.”

The two-minute read is guaranteed to provide you with information you won’t see reading the open borders, amnesty supporting Arizona Republic or getting your news from the leftwing alphabet networks.

The word “dreamers” morphed from the acronym D.R.E.A.M. which evolved from the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors Act which failed to pass— in all of its incarnations.  The term, often used interchangeably with DACA, (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), an illegal scheme, Barack Obama put in place while admitting it was illegal.   It referred to illegal aliens under 35 who claim they were brought to the United States as young children before reaching age 16, by their illegal invader parents — ostensibly making them eligible for special status.

Despite being  impossible to substantiate their claims, amnesty followed by citizenship is the end game. As of 2017 there are nearly a million illegals making this unverifiable declaration. American citizens are dreamers too, They dream not to be displaced in college admittance and jobs by this enormous group of future Democrats. We should not be conned by soft language used to describe a nightmare.
