Lone Wolf Distributors launches new 721 Classic connector designed specifically for Glock handguns.

Originally developed in 1988 by Glock and introduced on the 17L, custom gunsmiths have turned to the 721 connector as the base for their signature trigger work. Lone Wolf has decided to revive the connector style, keeping with Glock’s original design but upgrading the material.

Lone Wolf says its updated take on the 721 connector features a stainless steel body that is corrosion resistant. The company used a computer-controlled centrifugal polisher to achieve a “glass-like smoothness” to the part. The connector touts a RA measurement of less than 2, with resistance verified by a computer-controlled load cell measurement system.

The new take on an old part will deliver a light yet crisp trigger pull to custom gunsmiths and hobbyists, according to Lone Wolf.

“Here at Lone Wolf Distributors, we have been absorbed with everything ‘Glock’ for over two decades. During that time, we have seen a lot of trends come and go, and a lot of reinventing of the wheel. But often at the end of the day, you end up circling back to where it all began,” the company said in a statement. “We took a long hard look at this original connector, studying its angles and design. Recognizing perfection, we decided to stick to the original dimensions. Our mission was to resurrect this beauty but somehow make it better. And that’s exactly what we accomplished by using the highest quality stainless steel as the base material.”

The 721 Classic connector works alongside most Glock pistols, except the G42 or G43 models. MSRP is set at $19.95.
