Jon Kyl: “Coyote” for Supreme Court nominee

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

One of the great curiosities of the Trump Administration concerns the high number of “Never Trumpers” — Open borders, Country Club Republicans — who somehow worm their way into positions of responsibility and power — allegedly in the service of President Trump.

The latest — and most notorious — example is the decision to have Jon Kyl — the calculating and committed Arizona amnesty supporter, given the responsibility of shepherding U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh through the process of senate confirmation. The former Arizona Senator, who double-crossed the voters who awarded him his last term (sound familiar?), caved on promises of border security, and was all-in for the infamous McCain Amnesty. The cautious “McKyl” made his treacherous turn for crass careerism — ironically, centered on the Supreme Court.

Here’s the way it went down: Kyl, who might know his way around a speedway, but has a crappy understanding of Vegas odds for “shooting craps,” gambled that his support of “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” would result in his nomination to the High Court by George W. Bush. There was just one problem. There was no vacancy. So, Kyl slithered out of the Senate and into a D.C. lobbying job at Covington & Burling where he partners with Obama’s former Attorney General Eric Holder, among others. Last year Kyl was appropriately named to The Hill‘s “Top Lobbyists: Hired Gunslist, rife with Democrats.

The unctuous Kyl, remembered in Arizona for his slimy McCain-like efforts to purge elected conservatives on the precinct level, is now custodian of the new Supreme Court nominee, escorting him through the senate halls to meet with those who will be voting yea or nay on his confirmation.  As recently as February 2018, Phoenix’ KJZZ headlined a report, “Former Sen. Jon Kyl Is No Fan Of President Trump.”

Now the same Kyl is running an escort service on behalf of President Trump’s SCOTUS nominee.

Ain’t Washington grand?
