Daniel McCarthy’s border crisis wizardry: “Annex Mexico!”

Let’s cut to the chase. No one has accused U.S. Senate wannabe Daniel McCarthy of being an intellect. The brash and inexperienced 34-year-old with nothing to recommend him has little outside of an inflated ego and a load of ready cash from a makeup eraser product his wife invented — but he has decided to take on incumbent Republican Arizona Senator Martha McSally. Paramount in his game plan is annexing Mexico, the world’s 10th most populated country with an estimated population of 126 million mostly impoverished people and a corrupt  government that colludes with drug cartels.

His plan is pure genius...if you have no sense of reason.

Yet McCarthy’s entrance into the race still ensures forcing McSally to deplete resources waging a Primary campaign. 

She is being challenged in the General by leftist Mark Kelly, the husband of former AZ U.S. Rep. Gabby Giffords.  According to Federal Election Commission data, Kelly is significantly surpassing the fundraising all national senate candidates of both parties. He is aided by Socialist multi-billionaire George Soros, who despises the idea of national borders.

McCarthy, who claims to be a conservative, seems to have missed some pertinent facts:

1. President Trump has wholeheartedly endorsed Sen. Martha McSally.

     2. A border wall is paramount to national security as hundreds of thousands of Central Americans, aided and abetted by Mexico, have invaded the United States. For decades prior to this aggressive and costly onslaught, the masses were Mexican nationals. Taxpayers are on the hook for providing them myriad benefits including, but not limited to, medical care, educating their kids, providing food through the SNAP program (formerly known as food stamps), and shouldering the costs the criminals among them inflict on society and our criminal justice system.

Daniel McCarthy’s solution to this massive problem is to annex Mexico!

 “There is a process to become states for the United States,” McCarthy said Tuesday morning on an Arizona radio station. “Clearly 30 million Mexican illegal immigrants want to be United States citizens, probably half the country wants to be United States citizens.”

McCarthy’s brainstorm is to put Article IV, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution to work. It notes that “new states may be admitted by the Congress into this union.”

“I want to speak above the Mexican government. Okay? When you’re talking to the Mexican citizens, ‘Rise up in your communities and petition to become states for the United States.’ That’s how that process works,” he said, adding, “by the way, it’s not that challenging.”

Asked about these earlier comments when appearing on a Channel 3 newscast Friday night, he attempted to walk this absurdity back saying he was joking.
