Yikes! it was up that tree so fast. I had one last summer 10 feet away sitting on it’s haunches next to my chicken yard just watching my chickens. I couldn’t get to my rifle which was inside the house. This was the first time I’d seen one in my backyard that close to the house. Needless to say I now go out with my .44 Magnum rifle and my .45 Ruger sidearm when I go out back. You feel kinda small when you’re next to something like that. I knew they climbed but I didn’t realize just how fast they were. You’re real lucky.
