(Before It's News)

A pair of endangered scrub jays, encountered in a Florida nature preserve near Lake Okeechobee. The birds, which appear to be a mated pair, exhibit preening behavior, socializing, and vocalizations. Filmed using a zoom lens, so as not to disturb the birds, the area was filled with tranquility and peace. One bird is perched on a branch in very high winds, exhibiting masterful balance. According to some sources, there are only about 6,000 scrub jays on the planet. Here’s to their proliferation and comeback! Let’s do everything we can to help all species, such as standing up to short-sighted land developers, big industry, etc! Enjoy!
