This February 2022 video presents five days in the lives of 10 domestic cats which are also allowed to go roaming outdoors whenever they want. The location for the special project is the town of Weimar, Germany. Each cat was fitted with a small, specially designed collar containing a powerful tracking device. The data collected permitted GPS tracking of each cat’s movements over the course of the 5-day project. Some of the cats were also fitted with a small camera so researchers and owners could watch where the cat traveled.
