From cartoon characters to celebrities faces and misspelled sayings, there are some strange tattoos out there. But one man may have made it to the top of the list.
Artist Anthony Antonellis barely winced as a Brooklyn body modification specialist cut open the skin between his thumb and index finger with a 0.75 inch blade and inserted a small RFID chip.
The RFID chip is the size of a grain of sand and was encased inside of a glass capsule before being placed under Antonellis’ flesh.
“I Eternal Sunshine‘d that entire hour of my life,” Antonellis told Animal New York who filmed the procedure.
So why did Antonellis go through 30 minutes of pain to have a chip inserted in his hand that is completely invisible from the outside?
The chip stores 1KB of data and contains information for a GIF that is readable by cell phones.
“Think of it as a changeable, digital net art tattoo vs. fixed information,” Antonellis said.
The GIF is of pixelated rainbow colors and appears on screen when a compatible smartphone is held two centimeters from the chip.

Of course I have no way of knowing exactly when the US will hit Syria or even if they will. Obama could still use this as a way of showing he is not a war president and accept the evidence that his rebel chums could be responsible. However the consensus, even from the left, is that a strike of some sort is imminent. I can remember back when Bush was formulating a response to Afghanistan’s refusal to hand over Osama Bin-laden and there was rampant speculation over when the first bombs would begin falling. I was listening to Rush Limbaugh as he let the following slip:
I don’t recall hearing confirmation if the war began on a new moon or not but if Limbaugh’s theory holds then the next new moon is Sept 5th. Will Obama wait that long? Stay tuned? |

Syria Says US is Responsible for Chemical Attacks! Scott, a Republican Representative appointed by S.C. Governor Nikki Haley earlier this year to fill former Sen. Jim DeMint’s seat in the U.S. Senate after he retired, was not invited to participate in the historic event, a spokesperson for the Senator confirmed to Red Alert Politics in an email.
African-American leaders who did receive an invitation to speak at included Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) – who participated in the original March – Martin Luther King III, MSNBC host Al Sharpton and movie stars Jamie Foxx, Oprah Winfrey and Forest Whitaker.

Nidal Hasan to death for the 2009 shooting rampage at Fort Hood, delivering the only punishment the Army believed fit for an attack on fellow unarmed soldiers. The sentence was one that Hasan also appeared to seek in a self-proclaimed effort to become a martyr. The American-born Muslim, who has said he acted to protect Islamic insurgents abroad from American aggression, never denied killing 13 people at the Texas military base. The pilot hovered, he said, looked him dead in the eye for a few seconds, then turned his aircraft and flew off. Angered at what was clearly an act of intimidation the witness said, “They can take my blood, they can take my life, but they will never take the rights that God granted me. Those are God-given, and there’s not a man walking on this Earth that can come up against God and win.” Operating under cover of the largest air combat exercise in the country called “Northern Strike,” the skies over Northeastern Michigan have been filled with flights of attack helicopters, all fully loaded, flying back and forth to the gunnery range at Camp Grayling. C-130′s have also been landing at the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center filled with foreign troops taking part in these exercises, which include ground operations. I personally ran into four individuals in the local Walmart who bore all the hallmark signs of being Spetsnaz – Russian Special Forces.
