Focusing on a flame I find easier than Crowley’s wretched red triangle. A flame flickers after all which apparently replaces a supposedly static triangle that jumps around cause it’s supposed to be static.
First one of parents’ two cats jumped on the couch, I took no notice and focused on the flame. A bit later, the dog next door started barking, and I just focused on the flame. Then the other cat (I’m housesitting) nestled itself against my crossed legs, I moved one hand to rest on it and focused back on the flame.
