There is NO possible way that a person could trace their lineage to the time of the neanderthals. Written history only goes back so far and it stops waaaaaaaaaaay after the neanderthals were long gone. I seriously doubt that someone was keeping genearlogical records before the existence of writing… or medicine… or society.
