A group of researchers worked for 13 years at the Human Genome Project (Project completed in 2003) indicate that they made an astonishing scientific discovery: They believe so-called 97% non-coding sequences in human DNA is no less than genetic code of extraterrestrial life forms. Non-coding sequences, originally known as “junk DNA”, were discovered years ago, and their function remained a mystery. The overwhelming majority of Human DNA is “Off-world” in origin.
I could actually see this being true because unlike anything else, we have utterly taken over this world and are sucking it dry. We are an outside force, a virus if you will, imported from someplace else to suck this beautiful planet dry or life.

Only because we are the dominant species at the moment…
We Humans are trapped in a system of accounting for Our meaningful energy expended (exchange: trade, barter, money, etc.). From this emerges profit motive with the psychopaths matriculating to the top of the money/power heap, being the Ones who will do ANYTHING to get money/power.
This is why so much evil is being done on this planet in the name of profit.
So… The question is… Can We get rid of the NEED for money? Can We stop accounting for the products and services We use and exchange and ALL have access to this planet’s gifts, Each to One’s comfort level? Can We move into a society that is motivated with social currency such as recognition, respect, honor, fame for having contributed to the betterment, rather than for having been ruthless enough? And if so, HOW?

Oh, not more “human guilt”! Seriously? Humans are not a virus. Our species is not “evil.” The reason our planet is getting screwed by humans is because of the greed of very few people.
We are taught from birth in our current society that we “need” a big house, two cars, designer clothes, jewels, etc, etc, ad nauseam. Those raised outside of mainstream society are content with “small” lives-they don’t base their value as a human being on what they possess. When we all learn to confront the rampant consumerism that is raping our planet and ruining our lives, we’ll be able to let our planet heal. Until then, we’ll be taught that human beings are a “virus” and that we need to die (so those who don’t get knocked off can have even MORE resources).
Stop feeling guilty for being human. You have a brain-you can use it to make a difference.
The comments have little to do with the authors point. (though I do enjoy the train of thought of Amaterasu Solar) Some are so quick to ridicule and ‘prove someone wrong’, that they ramble, miss the point entirely, and bring little to a debate. The author says ‘We are not like any other species on this planet’. No matter your argument, this IS a true statement. Sure there are just a few greedy, money hungry destructive idiots that ruin everything for all the good ones, and we are trapped by societies assumption that a monetary system is important. Actually this reinforces the authors statements. WE ARE different than all other species present here on Earth. We do not fit in the way other species do. The fact that one member of our species CHOOSES to manipulate the rest of society into a certain belief system again reinforces this. Our species is a destructive species by nature, we are manipulative for self gain, not ALL people, but the species as a whole. If there is any dispute for that, then one is simply choosing to deny the fact that you have ever had a manipulative thought. Animals, or other animals i should say, don’t have this thought process. This is not Human Hating, its just simple fact. After all, “Truth goes through 3 stages: 1- It is ridiculed 2-it is violently opposed, 3- it is accepted as self evident.”-Schoepenhouer
Which highlights all the more….the fact that we are created. Not all beings prove able to handle such a grand gift as sentience.

I have to disagree with you, darlin’. It IS “human hating” to think of our species as a virus or “aliens” sent to Earth to suck the planet dry. This is the same sort of language used by those “elites” who think humanity has nothing of value to offer except monetary gain. THAT’S why it ticked me off.
Also, humans are not the only manipulative species on Earth. All apes are natural born manipulative cons. Cats are pretty manipulative in their own way, too. Dogs certainly manipulate each other and other species for their own gain. All animals that live in social groups practice manipulative behaviors. The difference between human manipulative behavior and “animal” manipulation is simply that humans have the ability to plan long-term con games.
SO NOW YOU ARE TELLING US THIS PLANET IS A LIVING HELL..
