Warnings About the Death of U.S. Troops Ignored: The Untold Truth

The ability to time travel has many implications with regard to terrorism, crime, politics, war, weather, health, etc.

(Note: The following is a TRUE and ACCURATE account of events as they actually occurred.)

On more than one occasion, I have warned about the impending death of U.S. troops both in Iraq and Afghanistan, giving both the time and place where the incidents were going to occur. I describe two such instances here in which those warnings were foolishly ignored. Sadly, my warnings on various other subjects throughout the years have also been ignored far too many times with nobody bothering to consult me for details or even acting like they cared so that now I don’t even bother anymore to try to warn anyone about anything.

The first case involved troops killed in Afghanistan in March of last year.

It had been at least several days since any member of the coalition forces in Afghanistan had been killed. On March 21, 2012, however, I raised a red flag on my Facebook page warning of the impending death of U.S. personnel in Afghanistan, stating that “[t]errorist attacks [are going] to cause the death of several U.S. citizens in Kabul (Afghanistan) at the end of this week.”

The very next day (coincidence?), al-Zawahiri, the new leader of al-Qaeda, urged Afghans to kill Americans in retaliation for the burning of copies of the Koran a few weeks earlier. Plans were secretly hatched over the weekend to kill any Americans and their supporters. On Monday (March 26), reports from Kabul stated that U.S. and British forces had been killed that day in separate incidents to the north and south of the capital.

The second case involved the April 2004 ambush of U.S. troops in Iraq.

(Note: This was one of the very first attacks of its kind to occur against U.S. troops in Iraq. Therefore, it came as a complete surprise.The attack, which was recorded by the insurgents and released to the news media, caught the world’s attention because of its particularly brutal and horrific nature.)

On April 9, 2004, insurgents unleashed a devastating surprise attack on an unsuspecting U.S. convoy in Iraq near Fallujah, just west of Baghdad, which resulted in several Americans being killed, captured or missing. Included among those captured or missing were Thomas Hamill and PFC Keith (“Matt”) Maupin, respectively. The incident made all the news headlines for weeks at the time and even now is still talked about on occasion.

Three days earlier, however, I went to the local National Guard in Rutland, Vermont, where I met an unnamed sergeant wearing civilian clothing, who was in charge. I specifically warned the sergeant of the impending surprise attack, stating that our troops were going to be “ambushed and kidnapped west of Baghdad in just a very few days.”

I tried to impress upon the sergeant the urgency of the matter. I asked that my message be passed up the chain of command immediately and that someone get in touch with me that very same day so that I could discuss the details of the attack with them. The sergeant seemed somewhat reluctant, however, and acted like he was in a hurry to get rid of me. He suggested several times during our conversation that I go to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the U.S. Marshals office or the local police and talk to them instead. Still, I tried to reason with him. I told him repeatedly that I was actually very serious, that this was a very serious matter that involved the military and that his superiors needed to know about it immediately.

The sergeant finally agreed to pass along my message to his superiors and proceeded to take down my name and telephone number. Unfortunately, no one ever called me. On the day that the ambush occurred, a few of my closest friends knew that I had gone to my local National Guard and had tried to warn the military about the surprise attack that resulted in the tragic loss of a number of American lives.
